The article reports that Cablevision Systems Corp. will be acquiring Bresnan Communications, an operator of cable systems in the West Coast. The acquisition will be backed by 1 billion U.S. dollars of debt and an equity investment of about 400 million U.S. dollars. Debt financing will be provided by Bank of America/Merrill Lynch.
