ABSTRACT
The article provides a discussion on disgust based on the neo-sentimentalism context. It first cites a discussion of Christopher Knapp about disgust and shows the common features that it shares with the human language faculty. It discusses certain areas about disgust including the proper function, mechanism and purpose. Moreover, it emphasizes the significance of disgust mechanism and its impact on humans if being ignored.
