ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the strategies adopted by western European utilities in the Czech Republic. Suez Environment of France works through its subsidiary Ondeo, and according to a spokeswoman, was the first international water and wastewater company to invest in the country. Veolia Water tailored its offers to the requirements of municipalities that were looking for investors and has improved the economic performance and customer service of its partner communities.
