ABSTRACT
The article offers information related to the safety and health aspects of consuming fresh farm produce. It explores risks of eating fresh produce such as it coming from large, centralized production areas worldwide where it has a potential to be exposed in exotic organisms. It looks at issues for the risk of produce contamination such as pest control, sanitary equipment in processing plants, and temperature control. Tips for keeping produce safe are also discussed.
