Spay Week 2010 -- helping to reduce Ireland's problem of unwanted dogs

The article offers information on the 2010 Spay Week in Ireland held from May 30 to June 6, 2010. The downward trend has been held annually since 2002 and supported by Dogs Trust and Veterinary Ireland Companion Animal Society (VICAS) wherein during this times, steady downwards trend of stray dogs entering pounds and reduction in euthanasia rate have been noted. The annual neutering awareness aims to reduce problems of unwanted dogs in the region.
