ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the views of economist Ed Mier on the market activity of copper in the U.S. market. Mier cites that market performance as well as supply and demand of copper have been affected by inflation. Mier also asserts that the U.S. will likely to pose economic recovery, but not that rapid. On the other hand, the economist contradicts on the belief that China will recover ahead of the U.S. as its imports of copper products will decline in 2010.
