ABSTRACT
The article presents a study which examines methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) collected isolates to detect inducible clindamycin resistance (MLSBi) in Libya. The study found 128 MRSA isolates as Staphylococcus aureus and researchers tested them against erythromycin, clindamycin and synercid for the characterization of MLSB phenotypic isolates. D-tests were also performed by researchers to study isolates that exhibited erythromycin resistance. The study also discovered that clindamycin is effective in treating staphylococci infection and MRSA infections.
