ABSTRACT
The article presents an update on bovine tuberculosis (TB) controls in Wales as of May 2010. The new legislation that aims to strengthen the controls of bovine TB will come into force on May 25. According to the Badger Trust, it is seeking leave to appeal against a ruling held by the High Court that a proposed limited cull of badgers in Wales as part of measures to control the disease is illegal.
