ABSTRACT
The article summarizes the results of several studies on veterinary medicine published in other journals. Differences in how dairy herd fertility services are provided in Ireland, Portugal and the Netherlands are cited. The "Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association" reported that plasma lactate could be a predictor in the prognosis of gastric dilatation-volvulus (GDV) in dogs. Another study revealed that strenuous exercise tests may be more easily performed on a treadmill in racehorses than multiple exercise intervals in the field.
