ABSTRACT
In this study, the definition and purpose of multivariate statistical methods was emphasized and one of the multivariate statistical methods, canonical correlation analysis was investigated, nonetheless, in order to comprehend this method better, basic structure of correlation analysis was alluded. In application section, by implementing statistical package program (STATISTICA) to the data obtained from nourishment experiment on partridges in Harran University, faculty of agriculture, animal science department application farm canonical correlation analysis was applied. The obtained results were commented with the assistance of tables and graphs. The highest canonical correlation coefficient was determined as 0.75793. The canonical correlation between variable set of body blood parameters and variable set of performance parameters were found insignificant within both α = 0.01 and α = 0.05 significance level.
