This article aims to make contribution to the Iraq conquests which occurred in the period of Abu Bakr by comparing the viewpoints of the main sources. In the article the reports of different orientalists such as Waqidi, Baladhuri, and Tabari regarding the Iraq conquests were examined and their ideas were evaluated from different aspects.
