ABSTRACT
The article discusses the importance of good management practices during a bad economy based on the keynote message of Slap president Stan Slap, during a National Association of Trailer Manufacturers (NATM) convention. Slap advised companies to stop making excuses if they want to survive the uncertain economy. He explained the principle and motivation behind branding and the need for companies to create a values-based relationship with their customers.
