The article focuses on the approval of legislations that address caregiver issues including the Caregiver and Veterans Omnibus Health Services Act of 2009 or Public Law (P.L.) 111-163. It states that the Family Caregiver Program Act of 2009 and the Veteran and Servicemember Caregiver Support Act of 2009 provide training and support for caregivers. It adds that the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) collaborate to guarantee the laws' implementation.
