ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the Drug Safety and Effectiveness Network, a post-market drug surveillance project created by Health Canada and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research. It informs that the project consists of three main components which include a virtual network of centres of excellence in post-market drug research, a coordinating office to manage network operations and a steering committee to provide strategic direction. It also discusses the main objectives of the project.
