The article focuses on the Government Accountability Office's (GAO) review on policies, statutes, and regulations. It states that governmentwide acquisition contracts (GWAC) and multiagency contracts (MAC) must provide an advantage to the government in buying goods and services. It adds that the General Services Administration (GSA) agreed to exert more effort to improve multiple award schedule (MAS) program pricing and management in response to the GAO's findings.
