ABSTRACT
The article reports on the implication of the closure of the Naval Station in Ingleside Area, Texas on April 2010. It states that the station's closure is part of the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) program. It notes that the Ingleside Council will bid farewell to the station that they have grown up with for the last 18 years that it existed and everyone is sad to see the base's ships, commands and major tenants moving to new homes.
