ABSTRACT
The article discusses the idea of employee pride and its effect in the growth of an organization. The author states that pride has different meanings and can be measured through employee engagement survey. He offers the 5 best practices to create a culture of pride and engagement, including communicate the positive attributes, meet with employees and establish an award program. He says that although the best practices are directed at managers, employees need to also understand that pride is a personal feeling.
