ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the results of a survey on the relationship between managerial capacities and profitability in a business. The survey revealed the association between managerial skills at the entire organisational levels and enhanced business activity, despite tough economic context. It also mentions several exemplar practices that helped in the improvement of a business. The research noted an enhanced level of profitability in the business as a result of the positive effect of Investors in People (IIP) on managerial performance.
