ABSTRACT
The article examines the effectiveness of kiosks in increasing new customer traffic to supermarkets in the U.S. It points out that supermarkets will be able to provide a community service by offering kiosks and at the same time build loyalty and additional sales. It mentions the EyeSite from SoloHealth, which is being tried at supermarkets in several cities where consumers can have their vision assessed for free.
