ABSTRACT
The author discusses the issue of rights to free speech with regard to the reference being given by the Christian Legal Society (CLS) at the Hastings Law School of the University of California in San Francisco, California, to gay people. The law school administration invalidated the recognition of the CLS for grounds of not accepting people who practice and support gay life. The author notes that it is legitimate for schools to make a moral assertion on their rule regarding discrimination based on sexual orientation.
