ABSTRACT
The article discusses the improvement of the weatherization in support for the Weatherization Assistance program (WAP) in New York City. It mentions the program performs retrofits on a wide variety of buildings that ranges from affordable housing complexes to single-family homes. It notes that as the renewable energy generation becomes more affordable, expanding investments in weatherization will guarantee that the cost-effective technologies are widely spread in the urban areas.
