ABSTRACT
The article discusses dedicated indexing software programs. Under examination is the AutoComplete feature of a speed indexing program. The author notes that the Linux operating system is in use in the application but that there is an equivalent program available for computers running Windows, DOS and Macintosh. The author takes the process through a number of steps including the conversion of a PDF or Word file to plain text, the extraction of all capitalized phrases, and the running of the AutoComplete function.
