ABSTRACT

The article discusses research on the history of precipitation and drought in Seoul, Korea. It references the study "Evaluation, Modification, and Application of the Effective Drought Index to 200-Year Drought Climatology of Seoul, Korea," by D.-W. Kim and colleagues, published in the "Journal of Hydrology." Researchers concluded that post-Little Ice Age warming of the Earth had no effect on the long-term histories of precipitation or drought in Seoul.
