ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the efforts of some companies to go green by reducing their carbon footprints. It says that most companies, like Corus, have decided to take part in corporate-wide initiatives for the improvement of the energy efficiency of manufacturing processes. It adds that Corus' plant in North Wales produces pre-finished steel with organic paint coating, which undergoes two manufacturing processes including a process that requires large amount of natural gas for proper application.
