ABSTRACT
The article focuses on various analytics used for the security management of industrial facilities. Niall Jenkins of IMS Research says that business intelligence analytics offers advantages such as providing more controlled environment. It states that edge-based video analytics systems allow situational awareness through displaying of alarms and target information. It adds that video analytics provide security alerts on potentials threats in high-security places such as airports and hospitals.
