ABSTRACT
The article offers insights of SightLogix Inc. chief executive officer (CEO) John Romanowich on the switch of security industry into an internet protocol (IP) platform. Romanowich says that video surveillance camera automation will be common by 2015 to 2020 and will have features like intelligent sensors. He adds that such feature maximizes manpower efficiency and is beneficial for return of investment (ROI). He also suggests that better security systems outsourcing is the key for great economy.
