ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the treatment of young children with congenital heart disease (CHD) through the use of antithrombotic therapy. Medical doctor William Gaynor states that the treatment of CHD has various effects to children such as impaired social competency and short attention span. It adds that the treatment using the antithrombotic therapy indicate a high risk of stroke in children without knowing the mechanism of therapy such as primary arterial disease.
