ABSTRACT
The article discusses the increase in sales of life insurance due to consumer searches for financial security in the U.S. It states that the country's financial crisis and weak economy had a devastating impact on the assets of consumers, leading them to seek the safety of their money. It adds that better economic trends mean consumers are regaining confidence in banks and understand the value of life insurance as a tool to prevent financial risk.
