ABSTRACT
The article discusses the acquisition by the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (AICPCU) of the Continuing Education University (CEU.com), an online school for insurance professionals in the U.S. AICPCU offers professional designations for agents, brokers and insurance executives and provides them knowledge and value. AICPCU bought CEU.com because of its established online presence and the growing market of Web-based self-study.
