ABSTRACT
The article explores how playing games could help preschool children build skills in all areas of development. The author explains that games increase mind and body fitness, and they connect children with their friends, thus developing social and emotional skills, communication skills, cognitive skills, and physical skills. Tips on how to encourage preschool children to play and learn from games are presented, including introducing new games at circle time, and creating games to go with learning centers.
