ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the capability of the American public library to support education, provide information, and recreation to the society in Kentucky. The partnership of public libraries with the International Reading Association can help immigrants learn the American culture. Moreover, the use of Internet in the public libraries promote computer literacy.
