ABSTRACT
The article reports on Falls Church's survey on the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act guidelines by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) which include 2/3 of hospitals have identified gaps for meaningful use, 98% of hospitals have a policy limiting the disclosure of protected health information and 54% uses the latest software version for electronic health record product.
