ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's discussion on the use of digital signal processing (DSP) for spectrum analysis in plant maintenance. The author outlines the significant importance of DSP in troubleshooting the noise and distortion to prevent interference with the upstream signal transmission. He also highlights the function of handheld field analyzers in sorting service signal traffic from spectrum anomalies to increase technician productivity and improve customer satisfaction.
