ABSTRACT
The article discusses the review conducted by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) on the action plans of the Civil Rights Directorate (CRD) of the U.S. Coast Guard. GAO reviewed how the Coast Guard developed its actions plans and how the actions plans align with the employment opportunity program of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EROC). GAO recommends the Department of Homeland Security to establish measurable performance goals and define each action plan.
