ABSTRACT
The article presents information on a study undertaken to find if vitamin D provides clinical benefit in patients with chronic kidney disease and does not require dialysis. The study method involved searching the databases for published randomized controlled trials. The result shows that Vitamin D did not reduce mortality or need for dialysis and hence does not provide any clinical benefit. Also charts and discussion of the findings are presented.
