ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the advice recommended by the Sustainable Control of Parasites Sheep (SCOPS) on the usage of a new anthelmintic monepantel in Great Britain. SCOPS advised early administration of monepantel before resistance levels would go high. In addition, SCOPS stressed that such initiative is important for the industry since it could reduce selection pressure for resistance if conducted carefully.
