ABSTRACT
The article enumerates historical war campaigns launched during the months of June and July including the unsuccessful blockade of the British ship Shannon off Boston, Massachusetts under the command of Captain James Lawrence of the USS Chesapeake on June 1, 1813, the assault by the British forces led by Major General William Howe on the Patriots at the Battle of Bunker Hill on June 17, 1775 and the start of the War of Attrition on July 1, 1967 between Egypt and Israel which erupted along the Suez Canal.
