ABSTRACT
The article reports that Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group will be acquired by Hertz Global Holdings for 41 U.S. dollars per share or 1.2 billion U.S. dollars. Under the terms of the acquisition, shareholders of the former wil be given 6.88 U.S. dollars per share in the form of a dividend. Christopher Agnew, executive director for travel and leisure at MKM Partners, noted that the deal will boost the multi-brand strategy of Hertz.
