ABSTRACT
The article reports on the move by Verizon Business to enhance its on-demand, global cloud computing solution known as Verizon Computing as a Service (CaaS). Among the new features added to CaaS are server cloning, application and operating system expansion, and expanded networking flexibility. Also announced is the successful completion of the first annual SAS 70 Type II examination of controls for Verizon's CaaS data centers. The benefits of Verizon CaaS to customers and businesses are cited.
