ABSTRACT
The article presents a letter which depicts the condition of libraries during the 2010 Winter Olympic Games that was held in Vancouver, Canada. He mentions that during the event, libraries have not suffered, instead many have rediscovered their traditional levels of silence. He adds that on number of occasion library employees were obliged to deal with drunks, although there were no reports of violence or otherwise outrageous behaviour.
