ABSTRACT
The March 2010 issue of "GAO" is presented, which focuses on the need among federal agencies in the U.S. to consolidate and secure Internet connections. Included within the issue is the launch of the Trusted Internet Connection (TIC) by the U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) with cooperation of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) through its National Cybersecurity Protection System (NCPS). Also presented are the goals, objectives and requirements for its implementation.
