ABSTRACT
The article presents a study that examines the seven cases of patients with monostotic fibrous dysplasia of the spine. It says that a literature review using the PubMed search engine was conducted to analyze the history, physical examination, histologic characteristics and clinical follow-up evaluations of the patients. It reveals that pain was the most common symptom for patients with monostotic fibrous dysplasia of the spine. Moreover, bisphosphonates were found to cure bone pain.
