ABSTRACT
The article offers steps on how to heat-balance the multifamily-residential and commercial buildings. It suggests the need to have an energy management system (EMS) in order to reduce fuel use, conserve energy, and save money. It also stresses that the EMS is set with a desired indoor temperature (DIT) based on a level that is appropriate for the building.
