The article focuses on the advancement of network digital video recorder (DVR) wherein multiple system operators (MSOs) conceive it as part of a move regarding information processing (IP)-video. It says that many executives perceive that the concept of network DVR belongs to video-delivery initiatives which are based in the Internet. Moreover, they do not see the effectiveness of network DVR applications with regards to cost as compared to the traditional video recorders.
