ABSTRACT

The article presents an overview of concerns which are raised occasionally by consumers over privacy issues as a result of alleged invasions of privacy that have occurred because of consumers' use of online social networking websites such as Facebook and Google Inc's Buzz. In the article the author offers his opinions on social networking websites and suggests that consumers cause their own privacy problems by providing personal information to the online social networking web sites.
