ABSTRACT
The article offers information on research studies about roses in different parts of the world. It discusses a study of genetic rose resources of Lake Van basin in Turkey by S. Alps and M. Koyuncu about the antique and endangered roses in the old Van gardens. A study by L. C. Jesse et al aimed to quantify the sexual production levels and clonal spread to the Rose multiflora which is an invasive plant. A study by S. W. Kim et al focused on regeneration of plant from the root-derived embryonic tissues for the Rosa Hybrida, Charming.
