The article presents true stories of from conservation officers and forest rangers in New York. They include the seizure of snares by environment conservation officers (ECOs) from a man, who admitted that he had set up the snares to imitate an episode of the Canadian television show "Survivorman." Felony charges were filed against the Titus Mountain Ski Area in Malone and its former manager for directing wastewater into a culvert.
