ABSTRACT
In this study, control method of the electronic expansion valve in the refrigeration system was investigated. Electronic expansion valve whose mile drived with a 500 steps stepper motor, was used to control refrigerant flow. Fuzzy logic control algorithm was used for the valve control. Superheat degree of the liquid refrigerant at entrance into the scroll compressor has been controlled by electronic expansion valve controlled in the about 5 kW cooling capacity chiller.
