The article discusses the habitat and vegetation types of oak forests in Albania. It presents general data on Albanian oak forests, their phytosociological classification and distribution, and how oak forests are managed. It also presents studies of formations of various species of oaks. It also discusses the glade treatment for rehabilitating degraded oaks and the control treatment which relied on natural seeding.
