ABSTRACT
The article offers information on oaks growing in the forests of Borneo, Java and other regions of Indonesia and Malaysia. More than 100 Lithicarpus species and 19 Quercus species of Fagaceae are widespread in the Malaysian region. The Malaysia Quercus species are found in Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, West and Central Java, Boreno and Palawan in the Philippines.
